Position

Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Assistant Quality Manager supports the implementation of quality management processes on-site. They contribute to ensuring that construction activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, client expectations, and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of project quality procedures across site teams and subcontractors.
  • Support inspections of works, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Help identify non-conformities and track corrective actions until resolution.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality records.
  • Monitor suppliers' and subcontractors’ quality deliverables and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date quality logs and support reporting activities to the Senior Quality Manager.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, quality briefings, and feedback sessions.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials, procedures, and improvement actions.

Profil sought

Education

  • Degree in civil engineering, construction, building science, or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Initial experience in a similar role (quality, site supervision, construction engineering) is desirable.
  • Exposure to large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.
