Job summary

Teaching Personnel in the Oxford area is seeking tutors to support primary or secondary pupils with SEMH and complex needs. The role focuses on providing consistency, structure, and clear communication to help learners reconnect with learning at a pace that suits them.

Hours are 10–15 per week, core hours 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday; DBS check and safeguarding training are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong behaviour management based on empathy.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or complex needs.
• Confidence working independently.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Resilience and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record and report attendance.
• Monitor and document both academic and emotional progress.
• Provide clear, professional feedback to schools and other professionals.
• Maintain high safeguarding and record-keeping standards.
