Job summary

Conservatory Installers in Leyland is recruiting for Conservatory Installers with options for self-employed or employed roles. You will survey, measure and tailor installations, liaise with customers and suppliers, and ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have proven installation experience, Ultraframe familiarity, and the ability to obtain MTC certification.

Qualifications

• Experience installing conservatories, extensions or orangeries.
• Ultraframe experience is a plus.
• MTC card or ability to obtain MTC.
• Full driving licence required.
• Hold relevant liability insurance.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys for windows and doors with accurate measurements.
• Maintain a survey calendar and attend scheduled appointments.
• Confirm project details with customers and provide expert advice.
• Identify design improvements while keeping sales process intact.
• Complete survey documentation with photos and variations.
• Ensure customers understand specifications.
• Submit planning applications and liaise with suppliers and inspectors.
• Attend installations as needed to support project success.

Our focus is to deliver an exceptional service to our customers. To support our ongoing business growth, we are recruiting for dedicated and driven Conservatory Installers to join us.

About the Role

In this customer facing role, you will be expected to support the reputation of the West Yorkshire Windows brand and provide our customers with an excellent fitting experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct accurate window and door surveys, ensuring precise measurements and specifications.
• Maintain an up-to-date survey calendar and attend all scheduled appointments.
• Confirm project details with customers, reinforcing confidence in the sale and providing expert advice on solutions.
• Identify and document any necessary design improvements while maintaining the integrity of the sales process.
• Complete all survey documentation, including photographs and contract variation orders, within prescribed timeframes.
• Ensure customers fully understand their agreed specifications.
• Submit planning applications and liaise with third-party suppliers, building inspectors, and installation teams when required.
• Attend installations as needed to support project success and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
