Job summary

CO Home Improvements in Leyland, Lancashire is seeking Conservatory Installers to join our installation teams, delivering high-quality fittings for conservatories, orangeries and extensions.

This customer-facing role covers surveys, plan verification, liaising with suppliers and installers, and ensuring a smooth fits experience for every customer. Flexible options exist for self-employed or employed arrangements; driving licence and liability insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting conservatories, orangeries and extensions.
• MTC card or ability to obtain MTC.
• Holds a full driving licence and has liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate window and door surveys with precise measurements.
• Maintain an up-to-date survey calendar and attend scheduled appointments.
• Confirm project details with customers and provide expert advice on solutions.
• Identify and document design improvements while maintaining the sales process.
• Complete survey documentation, including photos and variation orders, on time.
• Ensure customers understand their specifications.
• Submit planning applications and liaise with suppliers, inspectors, and installation teams.
• Attend installations to support project success and meet or exceed customer expectations.

About the Role:

In this customer facing role, you will be expected to support the reputation of the West Yorkshire Windows brand and provide our customers with an excellent fitting experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct accurate window and door surveys, ensuring precise measurements and specifications.
• Maintain an up-to-date survey calendar and attend all scheduled appointments.
• Confirm project details with customers, reinforcing confidence in the sale and providing expert advice on solutions.
• Identify and document any necessary design improvements while maintaining the integrity of the sales process.
• Complete all survey documentation, including photographs and contract variation orders, within prescribed timeframes.
• Ensure customers fully understand their agreed specifications.
• Submit planning applications and liaise with third-party suppliers, building inspectors, and installation teams when required.
• Attend installations as needed to support project success and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for either window fitters or conservatory fitters to join and represent our fantastic brand. Please get in touch if the following sounds like you:

• Ultraframe experience would be a benefit
• MTC card or the ability to achieve MTC
• Hold a full driving license
