About Us

Conservation Contracts North West (CCNW) is a professional environmental contracting and consulting service specialising in habitat management. We collaborate with local authorities, government agencies, businesses, community groups, and landowners to enhance the environment through a range of practical conservation work and expert consultancy.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Conservation Project Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and work alongside a small team on conservation projects across the North West.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure projects meet CCNW’s strategic and operational goals.
  • Manage CCNW’s resources, including premises, vehicles, tools, and protective equipment.
  • Conduct and oversee site-specific risk assessments.
  • Ensure all practical work meets high standards and conforms to Health & Safety regulations.
  • Assist management in achieving CCNW’s objectives and complete other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in conservation, countryside, or environmental practices or relevant experience (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2 certificate, extended Certificate in Countryside and Environment).
  • Ability to lead a team across various projects.
  • Strong interest in outdoor environmental work.
  • Full UK driving license and access to private transport.
  • Ability to complete jobs to specification and deadlines.
