This role involves leading a team of managers and employees to develop strategies and analyze data to understand portfolio risk, enhance profitability, and improve operational performance. Responsibilities include setting strategic priorities, identifying trends, and maximizing risk-adjusted returns for the business unit. The candidate will utilize data analytics to solve complex problems, coach team members, and collaborate with technology, product, and risk leaders to drive performance.
The Consumer & Small Business (CSB) AML Strategy Manager will direct AML strategic initiatives, supporting the development, execution, and refinement of processes aligned with AML priorities. This includes defining, developing, and monitoring strategic projects in collaboration with key stakeholders and partners.
The role also involves contributing to organizational optimization through continuous improvement and process reengineering. We seek a candidate with strong strategic and critical thinking skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience in building and maintaining relationships across functions. The candidate will act as an ambassador of risk culture and represent CSB AML in various capacities.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, and implementing programs to identify unusual customer activity, particularly through Client Activity Monitoring (CAM) processes in the Consumer FLU, capable of flagging activities warranting further investigation.
