Job summary

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.

Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's

Qualifications

Good standard of education.
English reading and spoken proficiency.
Practical mechanical aptitude.
Desirable: assembly experience.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Ability to communicate process improvements.
Reliable and willing to work additional hours.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow TE Connectivity documented departmental rules and procedures.
Maintain standards in assembling connectors and keep good housekeeping.
Meet required times as documented in the process routing and achieve efficiency targets.
Be self-disciplined with minimal supervision.
Be a team member to ensure smooth department operations.
Maintain quality, efficiency and housekeeping to required standards.
