Job summary

Jisc is seeking a Connectivity administrator on a fixed term contract to March 2027. You will manage the end-to-end customer fulfilment process, coordinating with suppliers and customers across the Janet network, and ensure accurate recording in information systems.

The role is hybrid with hubs in London, Bristol, Manchester and Oxford, offering a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive learning culture at Jisc.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service delivery environment, preferably in telecommunications or network services.
• Familiarity with SLAs/OLAs is desirable.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Methodical approach with the ability to analyse information and anticipate problems.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager during end-to-end customer fulfilment from request to service acceptance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, network engineers, project managers and customers to plan and complete tasks.
• Communicate project information to customers and suppliers and monitor updates.
• Ensure accurate recording of project activities in information systems.
