Connectivity & Infotainment Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Connectivity & Infotainment Test Engineer to lead the integration, testing, and validation of connected car systems. Your work will influence the future of in-vehicle connectivity, infotainment, and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee test properties, including test rigs and vehicles for Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment, and Diagnostics.
  2. Define system integration and testing requirements, supporting validation planning for system sign-off.
  3. Perform flashing, coding, debugging, and root cause analysis on test benches and vehicles.
  4. Manage project activities, provide status updates, and collaborate with teams and suppliers.
  5. Analyze system integration and testing issues, troubleshooting with industry-standard tools.
  6. Develop expertise in requirement analysis, test automation, and environment management.
  7. Contribute as part of a dynamic team to achieve project goals.
About You
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in system testing, manual testing, and error reporting.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
  • Proficiency with tools such as ODIS, IDEX, VKMS, CP Tool, ADB, Ethernet, MQTT.
  • Experience with vehicle log analysis (DLT logs, Ethernet/CAN logs).
  • Familiarity with VW, Audi, Porsche ECUs and platforms.
  • Hands-on debugging and diagnostics skills.
  • Ability to develop test automation frameworks (Python, Robot Framework, Anna Framework).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • UK Driving License.
  • German language skills are a plus.
