This is an exciting opportunity to join the GMCA Digital Policy team, working across strategy, policy, project, and operational delivery. The team manages the digital strategy for Greater Manchester, supporting the GM Digital Blueprint, our 3-year strategy to become a leading digital city-region. Our goal is to create demand for digital solutions, accelerate infrastructure investment, and foster inclusive, sustainable, and healthy connected places.
The Connected Places Project Manager will oversee multiple projects, including the GM 5GIR SDN, ensuring delivery on time and within budget, and managing stakeholder relationships with ISPs, mobile operators, social housing providers, and local authorities.
We seek a passionate Project Manager with a strong background or interest in digital connectivity, committed to community impact. You should demonstrate excellent project management skills, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and organizational abilities. Your enthusiasm for digital solutions will help us enhance community quality of life and support the development of Greater Manchester’s digital landscape.
