Job Description

Planet Pharma is collaborating with a global pharmaceutical company dedicated to innovative healthcare solutions. They focus on developing and marketing prescription drugs, emphasizing cutting-edge science to meet unmet medical needs across various therapeutic areas, aiming to improve patient outcomes through advanced research and development.

The Congress Program Manager will support the strategic leadership of congresses within the global Congresses and Events team. Responsibilities include managing in-person, hybrid, and virtual congresses regionally and globally, working with brand teams, and supporting other managers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning and execution of global congresses, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
2. Support the development of congress strategies and engagement plans under the guidance of the Global Congress Strategy Lead.
3. Collaborate with Health Care Organisations to embed event strategies externally and maximize opportunities.
4. Work closely with brand teams to leverage congresses as strategic channels aligned with brand plans.
5. Transition the view of congresses from single events to strategic channels with comprehensive experiences.
6. Implement continuous improvements based on insights and feedback from stakeholders and attendees.
7. Promote innovative formats and approaches within the congress strategy, influencing brand teams accordingly.

Requirements:

• Experience in a tradeshow environment, either in a corporate setting or with third-party agencies.
• Project management experience.
• Experience working with Legal, Medical, Regulatory teams, understanding compliance requirements across different geographies.
• International events management or marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
