The Francis Crick Institute Ltd is seeking a Confocal Manager to optimise and maintain 15-20 confocal microscopes, ensuring high performance and reliability for our research labs. You will perform quality control, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with service engineers, facility staff, and research groups.

Qualifications

• A degree in physics, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with technical instruments and data analysis.
• Familiarity with statistics and data interpretation.
• Strong teamwork and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and analyse standardized images of test samples for instrument performance.
• Maintain a record of system performance for each confocal microscope.
• Coordinate with users to understand performance issues.
• Coordinate with service engineers for repairs and follow-up.
