Job summary

A leading recruitment service provider is looking for Confined Space Operators in the UK. The role involves cleaning pressure vessels, conducting confined space work, and assisting mechanical trades. Candidates must hold relevant safety certifications, including confined space entry and high-pressure water jetting. A full UK driving license and experience in maintenance are also required. This position may involve working away from home across the country.

Qualifications

• CSCS / CCNSG card required.
• Confined Space Entry certificate (medium / high risk) needed.
• Full UK driving license essential.
• Experience assisting mechanical trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean pressure vessels using high pressure jetting equipment.
• Conduct confined space entry and work at height.
• Assist mechanical trades with maintenance and installation tasks.
• Monitor confined space conditions and alert rescue teams as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas.

Job description

Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting additional Confined Space Operators on behalf of our client, a leading mechanical installation maintenance specialist who work operate on power, water and manufacturing sites nationwide. Duties will include:

• Cleaning of pressure vessels with high pressure jetting equipment prior to testing, inspection and repair
• Undertake confined space entry and work at height using MEWP’s
• Assisting mechanical trades with mechanical maintenance, repair and installation
• Standby attendant and Hole Watcher duties, monitor confined space conditions, gas levels, sign workers in and out of confined space, alert rescue team in case of emergency
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy
• CSCS / CCNSG card
• Confined Space Entry certificate (medium / high risk)
• Willing to work away from home, nationwide
• High Pressure Water Jetting card
• Full UK driving license
• Experience assisting mechanical trades
