Job Title: Confined Space and WAH Trainer

Location: Yorkshire (UK Wide)

Job type: Full time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000 - 45,000

Are you an experienced training professional with a strong background in Confined Space and Working at Height safety? We are seeking a dedicated Confined Space and Working at Heights trainer. You will be responsible for delivering industry-leading training to both internal staff and external clients across the UK, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end user training courses throughout the UK
  • Deliver Confined Space training (Low-High risk, permit writers, managing confined spaces, etc.)
  • Deliver Working at Height training (rescue, safety at height, system installation, etc.)
  • Conduct training courses for internal staff and external clients
  • Complete paperwork associated with each course to the required standards for internal/external body courses
  • Organize training venues, logistics, transport, and accommodation as needed
  • Design training courses and programs or manage this via external providers
  • Develop and maintain equipment and props for effective course delivery
  • Develop and implement Method Statements & Risk Assessments for safe course delivery
  • Promote our training offerings and additional services to customers
  • Ensure all training activities meet organizational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment, and equality laws
  • Stay informed of relevant skills and qualification requirements and circulate this information
  • Develop and deliver additional training courses as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date training records
  • Present professionally at all times
  • Liaise with other company functions to support organizational development
  • Attend relevant training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Ensure activities comply with quality management, health and safety, legal, and environmental policies
  • Travel frequently and stay overnight as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold TAQA or equivalent qualifications
  • Demonstrate occupational competence in the relevant training areas
  • Understand national occupational standards and assessment units
  • Experience with assessment and quality assurance processes
  • Technical knowledge in relevant areas, with appropriate qualifications
  • Experience in delivering training and assessments
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
