About the Role

The Configuration Technician will be delivering IT service solutions to hospitality and retail customers and continuously expanding the client base. We are looking for an experienced Technician with knowledge of bespoke IT deployments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Hardware: Configuring and testing duties across a variety of IT hardware such as tablets, laptops, digital menu boards, kiosks, tills and more
  • Resolution: Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics where required
  • Planning: Manage personal tasks in line with schedule of works
  • Quality: Perform quality control checks inline with departmental expectations, raising concerns where applicable
  • Additional: Carry out any other duties such as maintenance, evaluation and hardware cleaning.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Exposure: Background in IT, configuration, or EPOS sectors, with hands-on involvement in networking, hardware, and software deployments.
  • Qualifications: Holds college-level (IT), A-level (IT), or equivalent certifications e.g. CompTIA or CCNA
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely to both internal teams and external customers.
  • Physical Capability: Adaptable and physically capable, understanding the physical demands of the role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient with modern Windows operating systems and related technologies.
  • Focus & Concentration: Maintains high concentration during repetitive or routine configuration tasks.
  • Attention to Detail & Time Management: Highly detail-oriented, organised, and self-motivated to meet deadlines efficiently.
