Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Configuration Management within nuclear, defence or another highly regulated / safety-critical industry.
• Proven experience working with complex assets and facilities, ideally within the nuclear sector.
• Background working across major engineering, construction, commissioning or asset delivery projects.
• Strong ability to identify technical gaps, discrepancies and outstanding actions, and drive these through to resolution.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, HVAC and civil/structural engineering.
• Experience investigating technical issues using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to assess the impact of engineering changes and ensure relevant technical records, drawings and documentation remain accurate and controlled.
• DV Cleared or SC Cleared considered.

Astute's Contract team is partnering with a major international nuclear engineering organisation to recruit a Configuration Manager / Specialist on a 12+ month contract for its Bristol site (hybrid working available)

The Configuration Manager role comes with an hourly rate (Inside IR35) - rate will be disclosed on the call.

Key skills required for the Configuration Manager role:

• Extensive experience in Configuration Management within nuclear, defence or another highly regulated / safety-critical industry
• Proven experience working with complex assets and facilities, ideally within the nuclear sector.
• Background working across major engineering, construction, commissioning or asset delivery projects.
