Configuration Management Specialist Redhill
Full-Time | Permanent | Rapiscan Systems

Join Rapiscan Systems as a Configuration Management Specialist, supporting global commercial and government programs from our Redhill site in Surrey. This role involves implementing key configuration management principlesplanning, identification, control, status accounting, and auditingwhile driving document control and process improvement across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Execute configuration and document management policy and procedures
  • Manage CCBs, audits, change orders, and baseline tracking
  • Support internal reviews and compliance with SOW, CDRLs, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate across engineering and program teams to maintain high standards
  • Author and maintain CM plans, work instructions, and internal documentation
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience in configuration management (commercial and government)
  • Strong knowledge of CM tools, PLM, ERP, and software CM practices
  • Skilled in technical writing, process auditing, and ECO/ECP review
  • Proactive team player with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with FCA/PCA procedures and regulatory documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
