Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited is seeking a senior Configuration Specialist to own a cross-functional CM pillar for the A220 Wing program. You will drive engineering change control, integrate SAP tools, and mentor a dedicated team to protect aircraft delivery schedules.

You will partner with CM, program and manufacturing teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and roll out CM procedures across the business while championing continuous improvement and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with 3+ years' relevant experience or HNC/HND with 5+ years'.
• Experience dealing with senior management, customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to manage, motivate and advise a team on specialist engineering issues.
• Project management experience with a track record of delivering departmental solutions.
• Desirable: end-to-end understanding of Technical and Engineering Change Management.
• Familiarity with aerospace toolsets and ERP systems (Catia/Enovia, SAP S4/HANA, OpenText, Planisware).
