Job summary

Sizewell C is seeking a Configuration Lead to oversee and implement Configuration Management within the Nuclear Island delivery programme. Based in London or Bristol with a 3-day-a-week hybrid pattern, the role focuses on baselines, documentation of items, and change control.

You will deliver training, conduct audits, and support reviews to ensure compliance, while aligning tools and processes with project needs.

Qualifications

• Evidence of CM methodology training (e.g., EIA 649, CM2/CMII).
• Understanding and ability to apply CM standards (ISO 10007, EIA 649, CM2, Def Stan 05 57, CMMI).
• Knowledge of Technical and Quality Assurance principles.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering and System Lifecycles (ISO15288).
• Knowledge of business improvement processes (Six Sigma or similar).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement Configuration Management activities within the Nuclear Island delivery programme.
• Plan and maintain configuration baselines and document Configuration Items.
• Manage changes and produce clear status reports.
• Deliver training, conduct audits, and support reviews for compliance.
• Contribute to Engineering Data and Information Management aligning tools with project needs.
