Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC) is seeking a hands-on Configuration/Data Manager to own the hardware information lifecycle. You will ensure released hardware configurations, drawings, specifications and revisions are complete, consistent and traceable across the engineering lifecycle.
Working within Engineering Operations, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to maintain multi-level BOMs, release records and configuration data.

Working within Engineering Operations and reporting to the Head of Design Engineering, you'll sit at the intersection of Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain. You'll manage the information that defines released hardware configurations, ensuring product structures, drawings, specifications and revisions remain complete, consistent and traceable.
You'll work across Arena PLM, SolidWorks PDM, CAD data and downstream systems, resolving discrepancies and supporting Engineering Change Request and Engineering Change Order workflows. You'll also spend regular time in laboratory and workshop environments to understand physical hardware builds and ensure deviations, part usage and configuration changes are reflected accurately in released records.
You’ll join an Engineering Operations team supporting the development and release of highly complex quantum‑computing hardware. This is an opportunity to work closely with both engineering data and physical products, improving the controls that connect design intent with real‑world hardware builds.
You’ll have the chance to shape and mature OQC's configuration‑management processes, improve consistency across multiple engineering systems and help create the reliable product information needed to develop and scale our quantum technology.
