• CM2 accreditation is desirable (training available).
• Good understanding of product lifecycle in manufacturing.

As an SEA Configuration Engineer, you will support the Configuration Manager in establishing best practice Configuration Management (CM) using ARAS Innovator Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to CM2 compliant process, aligned with relevant regulatory and defence standards.

The Configuration Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working.

The salary for this role is up to £45k, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

• Support and deputise the Configuration Manager in the rollout of ARAS Innovator PLM & CM2 process within the company. Advise the business on best practice Configuration Management processes.
• Perform Change Specialist roles of CM2 to ensure a compliant closed-loop change process across the business to meet SLAs, managing the structured release of BoM & Part data from Engineering through to PLM & ERP.
• Provide CM processes aligned with ISO 9001 / 10007 / AS9100 & other standards, including Configurable Item Identification, Planning, Change Management, Status Accounting, Verification & Audit. Write project-specific Configuration Management Plans upon request.

The skills you need
