Job summary

Blank Space Recruitment is seeking a confident Staging Technician to support the setup of stages and AV elements for corporate events across venues. You will work closely with clients and the internal production team, assisting with rigging, de-rigging, and on-site health and safety compliance.

The role involves maintaining equipment, loading in and out for large conferences, and ensuring clean, organized storage and transport of gear.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Staging or Events Technician in a live event environment.
• Strong IT skills to support AV and staging tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Set up the stage, as well as Audio, Video and Lighting elements for corporate events.
• Assist with load in and load out for events such as conferences and gala dinners.
• Maintain, store and clean equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety practices on all production sites.

Due to exciting growth we are now supporting with the hire of a Staging Technician to join this busy team.

The Role

This is a supporting role where you will be working on the set up of the stage, as well as Audio, Video and Lighting elements for corporate events across the venues, from conferences to awards and gala dinners. Working closely with the client as well as internal production team, the role will support across technical, rigging and de-rigging ensuring that health and safety practices are adhered to. Maintaining, storing and cleaning equipment is part of this role, as well as load in and load out for events such as large scale conferences.

About you

We are seeking a confident Event or Staging Technician with experience in all set up of technical and staging areas of large scale corporate events ideally within a venue setting. With a proactive approach and strong communication skills you must be able to demonstrate proven experience as a Staging or Events Technician in a live event environment and have strong IT skills.
