Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Conference Programme Executive to join a successful consultancy near Marlow. This role is ideal for someone looking to continue their career in conference programme development, research and content writing, while working closely with speakers to deliver high quality international B2B events.

The Conference Programme Executive is a pivotal role within the Events and Media division, working across stakeholders including Operations, Marketing and Sales. You\'ll take ownership of researching and writing conference programmes, managing the speaker journey from start to finish, and supporting the delivery of conferences held overseas.

Salary and Location

Salary £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. International travel is a key part of the role. Due to the office location, a driving licence and access to a car is required.

Responsibilities
  • Research topics and develop relevant, engaging and commercially valuable conference content
  • Write and design conference programmes from start to finish
  • Work with speakers and conference chairs to promote events
  • Liaise with speakers in the run up to conferences and manage all communications once confirmed
  • Monitor the quality of speaker presentations and content
  • Manage invitations, bios and presentations from speakers
  • Support the Head of Events with pre event and onsite operational duties at overseas venues
  • Contribute to thought led content for marketing and research teams
  • Enable communication between departments to share industry knowledge and programme themes
Skills and Experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to research new industries quickly and translate findings into conference content
  • Commercially aware with the ability to spot relevant topics and speakers
  • Analytical, proactive and confident managing multiple projects
  • Experience in B2B conferences, research or a journalistic led role is desirable
