12‑Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover (21 hrs/week)

A well‑established professional organisation is seeking an experienced Conference Programme Development Manager for the creation and delivery of engaging conferences. This part‑time, hybrid‑working role offers the opportunity to identify and shape the content strategy over the next 12 months during maternity cover.

Overview

Working closely with the Senior Events Manager and cross‑functional teams, the postholder will have a passion for content and Conference programme development, identifying topical themes, sourcing high‑impact speakers, and partner with marketing to boost event awareness, attendance, and sponsorship.

Core Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging event content aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Manage speaker sourcing, briefing, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support effective event launches and promotion.
  • Evaluate and report on event impact, applying insights to enhance future performance.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery.
Essential Experience
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering content‑rich events for professional audiences.
  • Strong speaker management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Event planning and coordination expertise.
  • Comfortable using web‑based content platforms and event databases.
