Conference Producer – UK & US Portfolio

London (office 1-2 days per week) + International US Travel

£35,000 + Bonuses + Benefits

My client is an international Events & Award business to the finance industry. Through growth, an exciting role has arisen for a Conference Producer ideally with 18 months + experience, playing a significant role in the planning and delivery of their portfolio of events which is expected to expand in the medium term.

Reporting to the Head of Event Content and Production, the event producer will take ownership over a selection of conferences, webinars, roundtables, and networking meetings scheduled throughout the year.

This is a role for a B2B event professional looking to develop a career in content generation and event production. The position offers the opportunity to learn about all aspects of content production and is ideal for someone with at least 18 months of experience in the B2B events industry.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conduct phone and desk research on market trends, challenges, and solutions to develop market-leading products that inspire audiences.
• Develop agenda, formats, features, and key partnerships for conferences, roundtables, and virtual events.
• Generate client briefs for webinars, sourcing and confirming expert speakers, and writing the webinar agenda.
• Secure high-profile speakers to continually improve product quality and attract new audiences.
• Liaise directly with customers on their expectations and translate this through to high-quality experiences.
• Work with sales and commercial teams to define topic and content opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing function to define audience for each event, develop content-led segmented campaigns, and improve the quality of our data.
• Produce market-ready benefits-led copy for campaigns.
• Attend and deliver events primarily in London and New York City with opportunities for travel to Europe.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Minimum 18 months+ experience of B2B events, ideally in production and/or content generation.
• Excellent research and analytical skills; ability to deliver high-quality agendas based on a learned understanding of the market and customer expectations.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business development.
• Experience in different corporate event formats such as conferences, roundtables, webinars, and awards.
• Able to confirm high-value speakers from leading global companies.
• Demonstrable project management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to navigate challenging situations.
