Job description

This is an exciting position in a niche private wealth market for a confident and outstanding events producer with at least 3-5 years’ experience of high-level, proven conference production expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver consistent results correlated to targets across Campden Wealth’s event portfolio and required to travel internationally throughout the year.


Duties:

  1. Day-to-day responsibility for the production and organisation of Campden Events portfolio of private bespoke events tailored for ultra-affluent business owning families and their family offices throughout Europe and the Middle East.
  2. Execute efficiently on the content development, audience development, promotion and successful implementation of all the events.
  3. Learn the market and nuances of the Campden model efficiently and smartly to have an immediate impact with the portfolio. Being comfortable with networking and rapport building with UHNW’s is essential.
  4. Produce (to deadlines), project manage and attend a series of high-profile conferences, roundtables and workshops ensuring that all deliverables are met in accordance with Campden’s quality and growth strategy.
  5. Plan and conduct pivotal industry research including telephone research, one-on-one meetings, networking meetings and interviews with leading figureheads within the family business and family office industry.
  6. Create robust and pertinent conference programmes that are innovative and unique and above all offer engaging value proposition to attract attendees in the family wealth market.
  7. Develop and build harmonious relationships with key contacts and key sponsors with the view of re-investing any relationships/knowledge gained back into the Campden portfolio.
  8. Acquire and brief world-class, relevant and appropriate speakers and then manage speakers’ liaisons in the build up to the event through to its completion to maximise contribution and conference interaction.
  9. Provide comprehensive briefs to the sales team, including passing on leads and contacts that have surfaced through your research and analysis.
  10. Work closely with marketing team to maximise and develop the quality of the audience and write marketing briefs, identify potential partners and supporters as well as produce copy for all marketing collaterals.
  11. Write a detailed report after each event evaluating and recognising the core debate and emerging topics for future speaker acquisition, sales and delegate audience.
  12. Assist with the proofing of the conference brochure, workbook and presentations.
  13. Represent Campden professionally at industry events.
  14. Undertake other duties as required by your direct report.

Key attributes required to fulfil the remit and responsibilities in this demanding environment are:

  1. An experienced Conference Producer with strong leadership skills and proven track record of delivering a high-quality portfolio of event products.
  2. A thorough researcher who has experience of working with financial research or with UHNW’s (Ultra High Net Worth individuals).
  3. An excellent forward planner with strong attention to detail and discipline.
  4. A confident decision maker who has a history and ambition for outperformance.
  5. Experience and confidence in communicating across borders and with clients from diverse cultures and geographies.
  6. Excellent communicator in both written and spoken English with the ability to engage with a prestigious community with ease.

  3. Experience of leveraging CRM/building databases to enhance productivity.
