Job description

As a Conference Porter, you will be a vital part of our Conference Department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service throughout their event experience. Your role will involve setting up and maintaining meeting rooms to the highest standard, assisting delegates with AV equipment, and keeping coffee stations and guest areas neat and tidy. This dynamic and hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring conference rooms are perfectly set up according to client requirements, including arranging tables, chairs, and other equipment.
  • Keeping coffee stations and guest areas clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
  • Assisting delegates with AV equipment and ensuring all technical aspects of the conference run smoothly (basic AV knowledge is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided).
  • Providing excellent customer service by assisting guests with their needs and responding to requests promptly.
  • Supporting the wider Conference and Events team to ensure seamless operations.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential - enthusiasm and dedication matter most!
