Conference Manager - 12 month fixed term contract

Due to ongoing growth, Nucleus Global is excited to offer a 12-month fixed-term contract for a Conference Manager to join our in-house Conference & Travel team. The Conference Manager will oversee the successful, effective, and professional management of projects within the Conference & Travel Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project management, logistics, client services, and travel requests with high accuracy and efficiency, maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Manage end-to-end international event logistics, including organization, timeline preparation, budget review, and on-site management when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned projects, building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, and providing progress reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Project & Conference & Travel Directors to develop proposals and estimates, contributing logistical content and advising on potential new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Extensive experience in event management, particularly for medium-sized events, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in venue searching, delegate management, onsite event execution, virtual meetings, platforms, event apps, and delegate registration websites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
