Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hands-on and enthusiastic Conference & Event Manager to join a vibrant hotel team. This full-time role is all about making things happen — leading operations on the ground to deliver seamless, standout events every time.

The successful candidate will oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all conferences, meetings, and special events. From managing a busy team to being the go-to for clients, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Our client are a stunning venue based in Bracknell, Berkshire. The salary for this role is up to £38,000 plus tips. Please note weekend and evening work will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day event operations, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish
  • Manage and motivate a team, including temporary staff
  • Be the main contact for clients during events, ensuring their needs are met
  • Work closely with other departments and external suppliers
  • Ensure high standards of safety, service, and presentation are always maintained
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in conference/event operations (ideally 4- or 5-star settings)
  • Strong leadership skills and a proactive attitude
  • Great organisational skills and a cool head under pressure
