Job description

The Grand Ballroom is the jewel in our crown, and alongside our collection of 8 meeting rooms on our first floor, we offer dynamic and exciting spaces to work.

As Food and Beverage Assistant you will bring your personality and flair to provide a warm, friendly and generous service to our guests though meetings and events for all occasions.

The guest journey is paramount, so you'll know how to deliver fantastic experiences for our guests, time and time again.

£12.21 Per Hour plus Service Charge.

What the role involves

• Promote an always welcome and professional image to the guest, and give full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, forging great relationships
• Undertake preparation works required within the Conference and Banqueting department, including room set ups, laying tables, moving furniture and equipment, preparing stock, polishing glasses and cutlery.
• Undertake closedown and cleaning procedures
• Follow all steps of service, ensuring the focus remains guest-centric
• To be knowledgeable on the menus, being able to answer any questions, and make recommendations
• Make sure that all orders and requests are correctly communicated with the bar and kitchen teams, taking extra care around dietaries and special requests
