We are seeking a Conference & Events Coordinator to join our Regent’s Conferences & Events team and be a part of our busy, friendly team who ensure the smooth running of events within our university.
You will build relationships with external organisations and internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality standard of events across the campus, seeing events through from sale to full execution. You will also drive sales and profitability of the venue, maximising income opportunities through the provision of corporate events and private functions. In addition, you’ll actively support the development of the event planning process and work alongside stakeholders and the client in running the actual event.
To be successful, you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with ease and work with a variety of different clients and colleagues. You will have a background of working within the Conference & Events industry and the ability to utilise your own initiative to meet deadlines and targets. Weekend and evening work will be required.
Interviews will likely be held on-campus during w/c 27th October.
