Job summary

Humdinger is hiring Production Operatives for its confectionery facility in Sherburn in Elmet. The roles involve operating production lines, following recipes, and maintaining high quality and safety standards. Starting pay is £15.08/hour with overtime at 150% and progression to £16.08/hour as Grade 3.

Interviews with factory tour are scheduled, with multiple inductions in September. Openings cover processing and packing; a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and opportunities for skill

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or food production environments.
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain quality standards.
• Comfortable with manual handling activities and safety rules.
• Team player with reliable attitude and able to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate confectionery production processes including moulding, coating, polishing and panning.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues promptly.
• Follow recipes, production plans and process controls accurately.
• Complete quality, food safety and CCP checks.
• Handle raw materials and production ingredients safely.
• Complete cleaning and hygiene tasks to required standards.
• Maintain accurate production and traceability records.
• Support continuous improvement activities within your area.
