Job description

We are recruiting Concrete Production Operatives to join our client for an immediate start!


Location: Tallington Factory Site, Barholm Road, Tallington, Lincolnshire, England, PE9 4RL


Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 am till 16:00 - 10 hours, with 2 breaks (1 half an hour break is unpaid).


Salary: Starting from £13, with the opportunity to grow and earn more.


Our client is a leading manufacturer in the concrete industry, committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.


Your duties will include:
  1. Active job, pouring cement into moulds that are up to 90 meters long.
  2. Ability to learn new tasks in a wet concrete environment.
  3. Help maintain factory machinery and vehicles.
  4. Assist with daily cleaning tasks while working safely, following all health and safety guidelines, including proper lifting, wearing PPE, and reporting any equipment defects.
  5. Maintain the high quality of products by regularly inspecting them.

The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Background in construction, roofing, scaffolding, groundwork, or building; other backgrounds will be considered.
  2. Excellent timekeeping and attendance with a self-motivated team-focused attitude.
  3. Ability to learn about all the machines in different departments and communicate effectively.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure to fulfill output targets as a team.
  5. Effective communication with supervisors and team members, sharing ideas to improve production processes.
  6. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  7. Physically fit for this role.
