Here at theMick George Groupwe are currently recruiting aConcrete Customer Service Representativeto join the team.

Location:Mick George Head Office - Huntingdon

Working Hours:Monday - Friday between 7am -4pm or 8am – 5pm, Occasional Saturday work as and when required. (additional hours if required)

Pay:£27,000

About the Role

The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer service focused individual who thrives in fast paced environment. Making sure every customer has the ultimate customer experience from start to finish. Multi-tasking is key to being able to manage answering the phone, complete administrative, prioritise tasks all with high attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

Answer all incoming calls/emails/portal support from existing and new customer in a timely manner, making outbound calls to customers to give regular updates and deal with any queries. Build rapport with new and existing customers, ensuring a positive customer journey from start to finish. Have adaptable approach to each customer’s needs and requirements, being able to upsell and identity and cross-selling opportunities.

Be highly organised and manage own and shared team inbox, complete all administrative duties such as checking purchase orders, invoice/ticket queries, organising refunds when necessary and taking/booking orders. Build rapport with different Mick George departments to ensure a smooth customer journey from each department (Sales and Transport). Keep up to date with all company updates reviewing work locations, mixes and prices when taking orders. Have a flexible approach to work completing any Ad-hoc requests required by the concrete department.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Computer literate & Microsoft Office Skills
  • Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under instruction whilst using own initiative where necessary.
  • Highly organised with a polite and confident telephone manner
  • Previous experience within the construction/ aggregates/ waste industry would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Driven and pro-active individual.
