Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as an initial point of reference for service users and external agencies.
  2. Implement security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the service and respond to faults as discovered.
  3. Monitor access to the services and visitors and log and report incidents and antisocial behaviour.
  4. Meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.
  5. Escalate incidents to on-call services where needed.
  6. Maintain accurate written records e.g. incidents, handover, support or risk plans.
  7. Report any maintenance issues e.g. emergency repairs.
  8. Process referrals to the service using the Mainstay system.

What we want from you

  • Understanding and commitment to Nacro’s values.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting people in contact with the criminal justice system and/or experiencing homelessness.
  • Understanding of safeguarding.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults with complex needs (such as substance misuse, physical health, mental health, seeking employment and housing support).
