Job description

The opportunity to work for a well-established company in the Birmingham area has become available for a Concierge Officer on a part-time basis. This role offers a long-term temporary contract with great public transport links and the chance to positively impact your local community.

Concierge Officer

Monday to Sunday / Shift work

3 days a week (days/nights) with overtime available

Birmingham (B19)

Temporary - 9 months

As a Concierge Officer, your main responsibilities will be:

  1. To support residents living at our schemes in line with standards, policies, and procedures
  2. To deliver consistent and reliable customer service, exceeding customer expectations where possible
  3. To identify and resolve customer problems or complaints positively
  4. To work with internal and external partners to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  5. To support the team in creating sustainable tenancies and communities
  6. To respond to emergencies occurring in the blocks/perimeters
  7. To provide security and caretaking services

To be successful as a Concierge Officer, you will need:

  1. Good written and oral communication skills
  2. Minor handyman skills (preferred)
  3. Good knowledge of buildings and building services
  4. Excellent customer service skills
  5. Experience as a tenancy support officer, estate officer, scheme assistant, scheme manager, or resident support officer

You must be able to work flexibly between Monday to Sunday, days and nights.
