Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Concierge at our Private Retirement service, New Court, Cheltenham.

The role of Concierge will include:

  • Ensuring an exceptional service is provided to owners and offering support before, during and after they have moved into New Court, being on hand to provide them with a feeling of complete comfort and reassurance
  • Communicating with our Homeowners, relatives, friends, you will build an understanding of their interests, encouraging participation in activities as well as planning activities/events
  • Developing and delivering effective administrative procedures
  • Providing an effective concierge service including answering the telephone, coordinating on-site appointments, taking restaurant bookings and supporting the bar and restaurant service
  • Ensuring that the health and safety and security of the service is maintained to create a safe and secure environment
  • Ensuring that the highest level of customer service is maintained at all times
  • Supporting the marketing and sales process and assisting new customers as they arrive

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working in the extra care, luxury retirement or hospitality sector or in a similar front-line role
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Experienced in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to communicate and engage with our residents, visitors and colleagues
  • Have a caring and compassionate attitude, always ensuring that owners’ dignity and privacy is respected at all times
  • Basic health and safety knowledge
  • Level 2 Diploma in Front of House Reception is desirable
