About The Role
As a Concierge, you are responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. This hybrid role combines porter and concierge duties, ensuring our guests are looked after from arrival to departure.
- Greet guests at the entrance, creating a memorable first impression.
- Conduct regular walk rounds of the resort to check cleanliness, be visible, and offer assistance.
- Assist guests with luggage, ensuring timely delivery to rooms.
- Store luggage efficiently when required.
- Show guests to their rooms, explaining facilities and points of interest.
- Assist with luggage collection and loading into guests' cars upon departure.
- Valet park and retrieve guest vehicles as needed.
- Help guests arrange transport and plan routes.
- Deliver newspapers to lodges and hotel rooms.
- Show lodge arrivals around and explain facilities.
- Have good knowledge of the local area to support guest needs.
- Always aim to exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain impeccable grooming standards.
- Provide information about resort facilities and make reservations.
- Keep guest profiles updated with relevant information.
- Be familiar with internal systems.
- Ensure public areas meet standards, undertaking housekeeping duties as needed.
- Support other resort outlets during busy periods.
- Stay informed about daily business activities and upcoming events.
- Respond promptly to guest requests.
- Read function sheets, fact sheets, and memos at the start of each shift.
About You
- Passionate about delivering exceptional service.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to different cultures and languages.
- Resilient, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and diplomatically.
- Well-presented, with good judgment and a welcoming smile.
- At least 1 year's experience in hospitality hosting or porter roles preferred.
- Guest relations or service experience is advantageous.
- Experienced in providing exceptional guest service and knowledgeable about the local area.
- Capable of moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Fluent in English.
- Must have a full UK driving licence, as duties include parking, chauffeuring, and local travel.
