With a new 10-year F1 contract, the opening of Escapade Living and an international standard karting track, the business is experiencing an exciting and significant period of growth and development. Through our in-house food & beverage operation, we are looking for a senior member of the team to own the event concessions food & beverage business, working with and developing key relationships with 3rd party operators, along with our in-house elements. You will drive product and service innovation, direct the team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded, and manage the business to ensure profitability and efficiency through clear direction and implementation of business systems and processes.

You should have experience leading diverse outdoor or stadia concession-style food & beverage operations. Your qualities will be essential in supporting the team and ensuring the success of the department. You will motivate and develop team members, actively participate in delivering excellent service, and engage with clients.

  • Food Service Operations Manager, Stores Manager, Corporate Events Team.
  • Public Events and Finance team.
  • Wider catering team and SCL business departments.
  • Business stakeholders, including 3rd Party food & beverage concession operators, Escapade.
* Full-time onsite work is essential for this role and team's operational requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high service standards and culture.
  • Manage profit & loss accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Support live events and handle last-minute requests.
  • Coordinate concession assets to meet operational plans and KPIs.
  • Implement standards and innovate across retail outlets.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and partners to add value.
  • Collaborate on event planning with stakeholders to meet sales targets.
  • Ensure food safety and health & safety compliance.
  • Manage equipment and asset audits.
  • Support new project planning and food & beverage innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Team Responsibilities
  • Plan staffing, provide mentoring, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with the team.
  • Manage staffing costs and ensure proper presentation of catering areas.
  • Lead by example and adapt to irregular working hours.

Performance Responsibilities
  • Maintain financial management and cost control.
  • Develop supplier relationships.
  • Set and review service standards and KPIs.
  • Innovate products and services.
  • Ensure professional administration of business systems during events.
  • Provide event coverage as needed.
  • Proactively communicate and resolve business issues.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Knowledge of safety, food safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and catering management IT systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Professional and warm personality.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Level three Food hygiene certificate.
  • Understanding of HACCP and COSHH.
  • Flexible, leadership-oriented, and industry knowledgeable.
  • Personal License holder.
