As the Computing Teacher (Primary), you will deliver exciting, practical and creative lessons that bring technology to life. Working closely with colleagues across the school, you will help embed technology throughout the wider curriculum, ensuring computing enhances learning across all subjects. The successful Computing Teacher (Primary) will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching within a UK school – essential
  • Experience teaching Computing or Computer Science with strong subject knowledge
  • Secondary Computing Teachers looking to transition into primary education are warmly encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting is desirable
  • A creative and engaging approach to delivering Computing lessons across EYFS to Year 6
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities
  • A strong understanding of digital literacy, coding, computational thinking and online safety
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Availability to commit to this full-time, permanent role from September 2026
