Job summary

ANZUK Education is recruiting a flexible Computing Teacher for South East London from September 2026. The role involves teaching across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 where applicable) and supporting learning in different school environments.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification and can inspire students with strong computing knowledge and effective behaviour management. A long-term position with opportunities for repeat bookings is offered.

Job Title: Computing Teacher

Location: South East London

Pay Range: M1 - M6 paid to scale (PAYE or Umbrella)

ANZUK Education is working with a range of supportive and diverse secondary schools in South east London seeking flexible and adaptable Computing Teachers to support their teams from September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to teach Computing across key stages, support learning in different school environments, and maintain strong behaviour practice. This Computing Teacher role in SE London would suit experienced Computing Teachers, ECTs confident with behaviour management, or Computing specialists looking for a long‑term role.

Key Responsibilities of a Computing Teacher:

• Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour and learning.
• Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes and learning abilities.
• Support pupils’ engagement, progress, and positive conduct.
• Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and reporting procedures.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff across school settings.
• Undertake full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and marking.
• Develop students’ knowledge of computer science, programming, digital literacy, and information technology.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification (essential).
• Be a confident ECT or an experienced teacher within the secondary phase.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Computing curriculum for KS3–KS4.
• Have the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment, and behaviour.
• Show an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues and school leaders.
