Computing Teacher | Barnet | Outstanding Boys' School, Enfield

This is a permanent, full-time position at an Outstanding Boys' School in Barnet, starting in September. The successful candidate will teach Computing to male students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering computational thinking and digital literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Computing lessons covering programming, data science, and digital technologies.
• Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science exams and practical assessments.
• Create a creative, problem-solving learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and technology integration.
• Encourage participation in extracurricular computing activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Computer Science or Computing.
• Experience teaching Computing at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, and computer systems.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.
• Ability to motivate male students in computational thinking and problem-solving.
