Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Computing Teacher to join a forward-thinking Independent School in Barnet, starting in September. This is a full-time, permanent position for a dedicated Computing Teacher to inspire students in the digital world across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  2. Prepare students for assessments and examinations in Computing.
  3. Develop students' skills in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
  4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  5. Organise and support extracurricular computing activities.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Computing or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience teaching Computing at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
