Job summary

Arden University is seeking a Lecturer in Computing to join the Stratford Campus team in London. You will deliver engaging lectures across blended and distance learning, lead modules, oversee assessments, and contribute to new programme development.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Computing or a related field with undergraduate teaching experience and be capable of supporting students across Levels 4–7, including Python/Java, databases, and cybersecurity topics.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computing Science or related discipline.
• Teaching qualification and undergraduate teaching experience.
• Act as Named PAC and manage a defined caseload of students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures face-to-face and online for blended and distance learning.
• Lead or support module development and schemes of work.
• Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide feedback.
• Contribute to creation or refresh of programmes to meet industry trends.
• Provide academic advice and support to students.
• Drive innovation in teaching methods and assessment techniques.
