The ideal candidate will hold a Computing/IT degree, with a teaching qualification or willingness to train, and possess industry experience in computing or digital tech.

Qualifications

• Holds a relevant degree in Computing, IT or a related subject.
• Has a recognised teaching qualification, or is willing to work towards one.
• Has industry experience within computing, IT or digital technology.

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality computing lessons.
• Teaching learners across a range of abilities and educational backgrounds.
• Delivering practical and theoretical sessions covering relevant computing and IT topics.
• Supporting learners with programming, software development, networking and digital technologies.
• Preparing students for relevant vocational and technical qualifications.
• Assessing coursework, practical assignments and examinations.
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Keeping up to date with developments in computing, IT and emerging technologies.
