Job summary

RedTech Recruitment Ltd. is hiring a Computer Vision Engineer or Master's graduate for an on-site role in the UK, tackling challenging CV problems from design to product launch. The position values top academic records and may require UK Security Clearance.

You'll work on tracking, object detection, CNNs and transformers, with Python as the primary language, in a fast‑paced startup environment and cutting-edge tech stack.

Qualifications

• You will either be educated to PhD level in Computer Vision or a related field, OR hold a Master’s degree with strong academic project experience in computer vision, OR have proven industry experience as a Computer Vision Engineer.
• Top university with excellent grades (e.g. 2:1 or 1st).
• Willing and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (10+ years UK residency, clean record).
• Proficient in Python for developing and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support design, testing, and validation of optical hardware and imaging sensors.
• Contribute to visual monitoring, tracking, and image analysis solutions.
• Refine image processing workflows to improve efficiency and output quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, technical, and product.
• Design tailored algorithms using state‑of‑the‑art CV methods.
• Build robust machine vision systems meeting performance and reliability standards.
• Plan and manage tasks to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Develop and test prototypes through to final product launch.
