Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Long-Term (Full Academic Year)

Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

GSL Education Manchester is delighted to be supporting a high-achieving secondary school in Stockport in their search for a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school with a strong STEM focus and supportive SLT.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for a Computer Science specialist who enjoys bringing code and creativity into the classroom. You'll be working in a modern department with excellent facilities, shaping pupils understanding of computing, programming, and digital literacy.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Planning and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons at KS3 and KS4

- Encouraging students to explore problem-solving, logical thinking, and real-world applications of technology

- Using a range of assessment tools to track and support pupil progress
