Job description

A passionate and innovative Computer Science Teacher is required to join a wellregarded Independent school in Camden for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 1116) to develop a strong understanding of computational thinking programming and digital technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop students programming skills in various languages and their understanding of computer systems and networks.
  • Foster a stimulating and collaborative learning environment that encourages creativity and problemsolving in computer science.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Computer Science providing constructive feedback to support their development as digital learners.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Computer Science or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A strong and comprehensive knowledge of computer science principles and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex technical ideas clearly and engagingly to students.
