Job Description:

A passionate and innovative Computer Science Teacher is required to join a well-regarded Independent school in Camden for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) to develop a strong understanding of computational thinking, programming, and digital technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop students' programming skills in various languages and their understanding of computer systems and networks.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Computer Science or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A strong and comprehensive knowledge of computer science principles and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical ideas clearly and engagingly to students.
