Opportunity to join the team at a co-educational Independent Secondary School in the Dorking area that provides a holistic education through a wide range of activities including sports, outward bound pursuits, and creative arts. They also offer a student-led simulation of the United Nations where students have the opportunity to take on the roles of delegates and work together to tackle complex global challenges.

The school comprises approximately two-thirds of British students while the remaining third come from other countries, adding a global dimension to the school community.

The Role:

Computer Science Teacher - Part Time - Independent School - September

Part time (50% loading) to join the Computer Science Department at an exciting time in its development. With the introduction of devices across the school, the department plays a key role in promoting digital literacy. The introduction of a new GCSE qualification involving on screen assessment presents opportunities to extend students coding knowledge further than ever before, and in September 2025, the department will roll out a new pre-GCSE qualification for KS3 students.

You will teach both KS3 and KS4 students covering both theory and programming - experience of teaching Python or another programming language is preferred but not essential.
